This project delivered a new 1,600m2 building for the primary campus of the Hampden Specialist School. Although segregated from Terang College, the School is located within the centre of the grounds and accessible through secure gates via the walkways. The new Prep to Grade Four building is integrated with existing College buildings, sharing sporting fields, library and staff carpark access.
Beginning with the demolition of the old library building and its adjoining walkway, the new library building covers approximately 500m2, with 4 classrooms attached to the 250m2 library space.
A new walkway connects the library hub to the existing College and new Hampden Specialist School buildings, with extensive paving and landscaping tying the new and existing buildings together.
