Haymes Paint and Nicholson Construction have an ongoing, long-term partnership in Ballarat, both being multi-generational family businesses deeply rooted in the local Ballarat community.
It was with great pride that we built on our partnership with Haymes Paint to deliver their new manufacturing facility in the final quarter of 2023.
Haymes approached Nicholson Construction offering an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) arrangement for their new factory and warehouse (including office space), working together in the design phase with Nicholson Construction advising on costing and material selection.
This was a significant step for this long-standing business born out of Ballarat towards their vision to bring all staff together on one site. The Factory component was nicknamed ‘Tommy’ and the Administrative Centre ‘Snowden’, after previous long time Haymes Paint employees.
The site also included rainwater re-use facilities to make paint part of the project.
