This project delivered a new, two-level Police Station complex with an overall gross building area of approximately 2,910m2 to accommodate a wide range of Victoria Police operations. The station included a diverse range of spaces including public engagement areas, open office areas, a large reception and a foyer area.

Custodial facilities included high level security and secure operational zones, while staff amenities comprised of a gymnasium, sleeping quarters, kitchen areas, social break out spaces and locker rooms.

The facility required an extensive security requirement, including a vehicle compound, with external works including sealed roads, car parking, security gates and landscaping with an outdoor terrace.

Prototypes of the more complex areas of the build were built offsite during the project to ensure they were fully understood before the actual onsite works for that specific area commenced.

A 4 Star GreenStar compliant building, the project was delivered within the ambitious 10-month program allocated by Victoria Police, testament to the professionalism and expertise of the Nicholson Construction project team.
