Works at Hampden Specialist School in Cobden (now known as Hampden P12 School) involved demolition of existing outdated classroom facilities to deliver a new standalone Middle Years Building. The building provided new administration and office areas, classrooms, student support spaces, accessible toilets, changing place, multipurpose room, art room and maker spaces.
Extensive external landscaping, equipment and accessible footpath connections to the existing school completed the project, with new vehicle access works to the Cobden Technical School Hands-On Learning Shed. This project followed the successful consolidation of the Hampden Specialist School main campus into the Terang College grounds, continuing Nicholson Construction’s support of regional specialist education and school delivery for the VSBA in Victoria’s South-West.
