The Healthy Community Access Hub project involved the construction of a new multipurpose community health hub for Cobaw Community Health in Kyneton.
Comprising consulting rooms, treatment rooms, therapy rooms, two multipurpose areas, public/community kitchen and laundry facilities, the hub significantly increased the community health capability in the region.
A large staff office space with numerous staff facilities including phone rooms, print rooms, staff kitchen and amenities also modernised the working conditions for medical and administrative staff.
Construction was undertaken on a greenfield site which entailed the complete installation of all infrastructure, including installation and connection of authority services such as fire, gas, water, sewer and stormwater.
External works included a large civil component, with the installation of a 41-space carpark, large landscape package including client signage and construction of patient drop off area.
The building is finished externally with a detailed façade including curved/detailed brickwork, curved and detailed Colourbond cladding and curved feature roofing.
