Nicholson Construction completed the final stage of the Warracknabeal Education Precinct project (six new buildings), which relocated three schools (Warracknabeal Primary, Secondary and Special Developmental School) onto the one site originally occupied by Warracknabeal Primary, with a central administration area, gym and function room
In completing Stage 2, Nicholson Construction has completed the primary school classrooms and outdoor areas, built a new special developmental building on the former primary school site featuring classrooms, a gallery and art space, and sensory and home craft areas.
The new competition grade, multi-sport gymnasium is a standout feature of the precinct, available for the greater Warracknabeal community, including an indoor NBA compliant basketball court.
We constructed a new manual-activities building for senior students at the Secondary College, facilities for, wood working, motor mechanics and metal fabrication. Students were able to use some of the buildings as they were completed toward the end of 2022, with final handover in April 2023.
